2021 Gelding by Cuick Star Kervec x Golden Hawk 

Proximus is a quality young horse by Cuick Star Kervec, a 1.60m Grand Prix stallion by the world-famous Quick Star. Cuick Star Kervec has won at 1.60m level and his pedigree brings together exceptional jumping blood through Quick Star, Galoubet A, Diamant de Semilly and Kannan. His dam Ratina Kervec also competed at 1.60m, giving him proven top-level performance on both sides of his pedigree. The damline brings in further proven sport through Golden Hawk, a 1.60m Grand Prix and Nations Cup stallion by Vigo d’Arsouilles out of Ta Belle van Sombeke. Golden Hawk’s sire Vigo d’Arsouilles was World Champion and a prolific 1.60m jumper, while his dam Ta Belle van Sombeke also competed at 1.60m and has produced multiple 1.60m horses, giving this young horse a very strong foundation of proven jumping blood. 

Proximus has been to a handful of shows, jumping clears in British Novice and Discovery classes.  He is the easiest, most straightforward young horse you could ask for.   He rides nicely, does his changes, and is careful yet brave.  He isn't spooky, and is no different to ride after multiple days off.   He is good to hack, clip, for the farrier, to load, to travel, to bath, turnout etc.
