Melvin is a special young horse with a temperament that’s hard to find.  He is exceptonally well bred.  His sire jumped up to 160, and his dam's sire -  Quidam de Revel - is a world-renowned stallion who jumped at the top of the sport, including successfully representing France in the Olympics and topping the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) sire rankings for showjumpers in 2003 and 2004. 

Melvin was broken this year and is proving to be a super genuine and kind horse.  He has a lovely floaty trot and a big, naturally balanced canter.  He is brave and straightforward, and is now ready for someone to enjoy producing him further.  

He has been to a few training shows where he jumped everything first time, proving to be super brave and easy.  

Melvin is good to load, travel, for the dentist, to have his feet trimmed, stand in the wash bays to be brushed and bathed and tacked up.  He is easy to turn out and bring in and lives in or out, alone or with others.   He really does have a heart of gold - he is an extremely affectionate horse to have on the yard and just wants to please.
