ABOUT ME
Charlene started successfully showjumping from a young age with her Grandparents. She won the Grand Prix at Pony of the Year Show, won Gold in the Home Pony International Teams, then went on to win several Children on Horses Grand Prix.
She continued a very strong career in Young Riders with Newbridge Sports Horses, placing 4th individually in Hagen for team GB in the Young Rider Nations Cup Show, and qualifying for the World Class Olympia Under 23's final 3 years in a row.

Her national highlights include winning the Talent Seeker and the Foxhunter qualifier for Horse of the Year Show, where she had great results in the finals. She also won her first Puissance, clearing 7'2.
After this, she went on to base with David and Louise Simpson for two years. Here, she received top class training while producing their young horses, and competing their older horses up to CSI 3* Longines World Ranking classes.

Internationally, her successes include jumping double clear in both CSI 3* 150 Olympic Games Qualifiers in Vilamoura to place 3rd and 5th, placing in the CSI 2* Ladies Show in Abu Dhabi and finishing 3rd in the CSI 4* Grand Prix in Portugal.
Her 2022 highlights include finishing 3rd and 4th in the CSI 4* 150 Hickstead Speed Derby, and 3rd in the CSI 3* World Ranking Class in Vilamoura. She also had success in Italy, jumping double clear in the CSI 4* 155 Grand Prix and finishing 2nd in the CSI 4* 145 World Ranking class. Charlene also has numerous successful Young Horse results, winning several 5, 6 and 7 year old finals.

After basing in Weert, South Holland last year, Charlene is now based in West Sussex, UK, where she focuses on sourcing, producing and selling both her own and owner's horses up to Grand Prix level.
