Hennessy is a quality 2024 gelding by Count On Me Z, a stunning, modern Zangersheide stallion by Comilfo Plus Z out of a Carthago Z mare.  Comilfo Plus Z jumped successfully at 1.45m and has already produced top-level offspring, who are jumping up to 1.60m. The pedigree brings together exceptional modern jumping blood through Comme Il Faut, Cornet Obolensky, Ratina Z, Balou du Rouet and Carthago Z, with Carthago Z himself a proven 1.60m performer. Hennessy’s dam, Emma van de Wolfsgracht won classes up to 1.35m herself, and has already produced excellent sport horses including Boleybawn Evie, jumping at 1.45m, and Boleybawn Blue, jumping at 1.40m. Emma is by Mermus R, who brings in further proven top-level performance blood through Burggraaf, Landgraf I, Ramiro Z and Cor de la Bryère, giving Hennessy a strong foundation of proven jumping blood on both sides of his pedigree.
