2022 gelding by Escape Z x Ukato

Simply Red  is a smart 2022 gelding by Escape Z, a modern Zangersheide stallion by Emerald van ’t Ruytershof out of a Heartbreaker mare. Escape Z has competed at international level, while his pedigree brings together some of the most influential jumping blood in the sport, including Emerald, Diamant de Semilly, Heartbreaker, Carthago Z and Nimmerdor, all proven 1.60m performers. Simply Red's dam, Naaldenhof’s Cashflow, is by Ukato, a 1.60m stallion by Stakkato, and is herself recorded up to 1.35m. The damline also includes Bluf BH, recorded at 1.50m, and Meant To Be, recorded up to 1.40m, giving Simply Red a strong foundation of proven sport and jumping blood on both sides of his pedigree.

Red is being slowly and carefully produced with his future in mind.  He went to his first ever show at Wales and West recently, jumping clear in the British Novice and taking the big atmosphere in his stride.  He is a great contender for age classes this year.  

He lives in or out, is good to trim, clip, load, bath, hack, turnout/bring in.
